  1. Notice of Public Hearing
    The City of Marlette Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to consider an application for site plan review for property address 6300 Euclid Street. Applicant is proposing a new warehousing structure measuring 20,000 square feet at the northeast corner of the property. The public hearing will be held at the following time and location:

    Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 5:00 p.m.
    Marlette City Hall
    6436 Morris Street
    Marlette, MI 48453

    All interested parties are invited to appear at the public hearing in person or by counsel. Written comment on the application for site plan review may be submitted to the above address prior to the hearing. Additional information on the application may also be obtained at cityofmarlette.com or by calling 989-635-7451.

    Ordinances Being Considered for Adoption
    The City Council of the City of Marlette is considering several ordinance amendments for adoption that would amend the Code of Ordinances. The Code of Ordinances book has not been updated in over a decade. The public can view the proposed changes by clicking the Chapter Title linked below. These are draft versions of the proposed ordinances. The changes are shown in red text. If the red text has a strikethrough, it is a proposed deletion. If the red text is underlined, it is a proposed additional. Also linked below is a companion memorandum that provides further explanation of each proposed change. It is suggested that the public read the memorandum and the proposed ordinances side-by-side. A first reading of the ordinances will occur on April 3, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the City Council meeting. A second reading is scheduled for May 1, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the City Council meeting.
