Marlette's White Out Goes PINK
Marlette's Breast Friends are teaming up with the Varsity Football and Cheer teams to help raise awareness and support. T-shirts will be sold for $8.00 each and are encouraged to be worn to the home football game Thursday, September 2nd at 7:00 P.M. Please help us honor our local breast cancer survivors as well as those that fought the fight. We will be sharing a special moment at half time to honor these women. CITY ALLEY/PARKING LOT
Attention Business Owner/Occupant:
This is notification that the Marlette Downtown Development Authority (DDA) has scheduled improvements to the City parking lot/alley (behind Marlette Pharmacy, Main Street Clipper, The Country Crate, Big Value/Tatoo Shop and Drillock’s Law Firm). The work is scheduled to begin Tuesday, August 31, 2010 and should be completed by Saturday, September 11, 2010 (weather permitting).
During the time frame of this project we are asking that all businesses notify both employees and customers that use of the City parking lot/alley is prohibited.
As a parking alternative, we are asking business owners, employees, and customers to park in the following areas: The West side of Fenner Street, Downtown Main Street, East and West Morris Street, The City parking lot behind City Hall and the City parking lot behind Culligan Water. Chief McGinnis has stated that during the project, the 2:00 to 6:00 A.M. Parking Ordinance will not be enforced. As the business owner, please ask your employees to refrain from using the parking areas closest to your business so they are available for customers.
We understand that this can be an inconvenience to your business but are requesting your cooperation during this short time to make a great improvement to our downtown area.

Marlette Wastewater Treatment Plant Services
Marlette Wastewater Treatment Plant Laboratory (Operated by Wade Trim Inc.) is now accepting wastewater samples to be tested from surrounding communities.
The Wastewater Treatment Plant is ready to receive outside waste from recreational vehicles ($25.00) and septage from commercial haulers ($50.00 first 2000 gal).
