City Clerk

The Marlette City Clerk is in charge of administering elections, maintaining voter registration, conducting payroll and utility billing, and is the official record keeper of the City of Marlette. The City Clerk is responsible for preparing and maintaining official city records, preparing all meeting agendas, taking of and preparing minutes for City Council and various boards. The Clerk also serves as the Freedom of Information Act Coordinator. The City Clerk also publishes and posts legal notices, administers the oaths of office, and assists with the Marlette Cemetery.
City Hall provides notary services to the public. This service is currently free to residents within City limits. Those who are interested in notary services should bring the documents to be notarized along with a current picture ID. Please ensure the document is fully completed, but do not sign the document prior to notarization.
