The Marlette Township Airport is a class "C" airport with 2 paved runways. The 1st of the 2 is 3,500-feet, and the 2nd is a 3,800-foot runway. It has pilot controlled lighting, approach lights at the end of each runway, fuel service, a terminal with telephone and restrooms. Small business jets and medium size cargo planes can land at the airport. A 38 member glider club, The Vultures, have made the Marlette Airport their home. The Vultures can be seen soaring over Marlette and the immediate area on most weekends.
